Glad day! The dance of Albion! It's beautifully sunny here in England, one of those hazy summer days much like the one Carroll himself would've experienced. I presume we'll have a golden afternoon as well. :D

The story turns 149 years old this very afternoon. You're right about the weather - can't you just picture them on their picnic? I hope I can visit Godstow for the 150th anniversary this time next year. Hopefully the weather will be as perfect as it is today.

It's a national holiday in the US, where they have Independence Day two days wrong (it was July 2nd), as is the Hatter's watch.

Before Alice-Genesis Day ends here on the US west coast, I just realized that the 150th anniversary got completely missed in this now two-year-old thread. This was the 151st.
