3 Things You Loved and Hated In the Disney Movie
To all who watched Disney's Alice in Wonderland, share your likes and dislikes in the movie here. List three things you loved, or hated (or both) in the film.
Things I loved:
1) Alice's exposed undies. Call me a perv if you want, but i think the bloomers are quite cute. ^_^
2) the Unbirthday scene. Very hilarious!
3) The Cheshire cat... he's my favorite character in the movie.
Things I hated:
1) the live flowers scene. i always skip that part.
2) the Queen of hearts. she's not so evil.
3) the creatures in Tulgey Wood. The momeraths look like tiny mops on legs! Where are the toves, the bandersnatches? Where is the jabberwock?!

Yes, but...
I loved:
The "Eat me" "Drink me" stuff, Dinah and the Cheshire Cat, and the attempt at grounding the work as a whole for the specific audience.
I disliked:
The monraths which are not at all what they are supposed to be in the book, the fact that there is no Jack of Hearts, and that some of my favorite parts (mock turtle, pig and the pepper, etc.) were left out.
I don't think its right to dislike the work as a whole because that movie is what started my research of Carroll. If not for that, I wouldn't be here. But I do understand that it is vastly different from the original text. But I think that if it starts an appreciation and a curiousity with Alice, then its done a good job in the end.

Huh?
You say that there's no Jack of Hearts, but what's the Knave then? They're the same thing, but they just go by different names now.
If you've read Great Expectations, when Pip is playing cards, the girl makes fun of him because he calls the Knave a Jack.
3 I like:
The mad hatter. Definately the coolest of them all.
The Queen of Hearts, although she could've been better.
"we're painting the roses red..."
3 I don't:
There is no Duchess in the movie!!!!!
It completely departs from the book and adds Through the Looking Glass
If there isn't a Duchess, then who does he belong to?

Disney
In some ways... I think they combined the Duchess and the Queen of Hearts into one person. I remember hearing something about that somewhere. DIS>:-(
Okay... the Disney movie...
I like...
1) The Tea Party Scene, FUNNY!
2) How they drew Alice.. CUTE!!!
3) The Cheshire Cat... He's just so cool and... magical.
I don't like...
1) The Talking Doorknob, where was he in the book????
2) How some Looking Glass characters and scenes were in this movie.
3) No Mock Turtle, No Gryphon, No Chase from the Dog, No Father William, No Pig & Pepper & Duchess, No Tarts.... there's so much left out!
I want a kind of DIRECTOR'S CUT version or something...
I remember reading that even Walt Disney himself wasn't completely satisfied with Alice in Wonderland.
You know what they should do right?
Disney seems to be on a roll when it comes to making sequels,
maybe they should do 'Alice Through the Looking Glass' with scenes that weren't in the first movie.
The Duchess, the Mock Turtle, the Red and White Queen, the White Knight, the Jabberwocky, Humpty Dumpty... ect...

Alice's pantalettes
LOL! I agree! The scenes in which Alice's pantalettes (underwear) were exposed were one of my all-time favorite things about the film as well. Hee hee hee! ^_______^1) Alice's exposed undies. Call me a perv if you want, but i think the bloomers are quite cute. ^_^
I wonder why there are no screenshots of those scenes?
Here is a list of them:
The Falling Down the Rabbit Hole Scene
1. When we see a view of Alice falling and saying goodbye to Dinah, she flips over to a point where her pantalettes are completely exposed.
2. When she gets to the bottom of the rabbit hole, she drops down and flips over revealing her pantalettes.
3. When we see a close-up of her talking about not having to worry about falling down the stairs, we have a brief view of her pantalettes.
The Doorknob Scene
4. When Alice is small and tries to crawl up the table, her pantalettes are visible.
5. When she's sliding on the floor after losing her grip on the table, her pantalettes are visible.
6. When she eats the candy and grows large, her pantalettes are visible.
7. When she drinks from the bottle and shrinks for the second time, she falls to the ground. When this happens, her pantalettes are completely visible.
Caucus Race
8. Alice stands up on the bottle and gets hit by a wave, exposing her pantalettes.
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum Scene
9. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum start dancing with Alice, shaking her up and down violently. Just before Alice hits the ground, her pantalettes are visible.
10. In the next shot, we see Alice sitting on the ground straightening up her hair. During this scene, her pantalettes are almost completely visible.
The Rabbit's House Scene
11. Alice eats the carrot and shrinks inside the house. In the last shot of Alice's shrinking process (where she's shrinking next to the Rabbit's bed), her pantalettes are briefly visible.
The Caterpilllar Scene
12. When the caterpillar surrounds himself in smoke and starts to transform, Alice climbs onto the mushroom to blow away the smoke. When this happens, her pantalettes are partially visible.
13. When Alice falls off the mushroom after the caterpillar blows smoke into her face, her pantalettes are visible.
The Queen of Hearts Scene
14. When Alice gets startled by the Queen's fury and falls down, her pantalettes are visible. (It's when the Queen says, "YOUR WAY?! ALL WAYS ARE MY WAY!!!", after the cards who were painting the roses are taken away to be executed.)
15. When Alice is being dragged around by the flamingo, her pantalettes are visible.
16. When Alice grows in the courtroom and hits her head on the roof, her skirt lifts slightly, revealing her pantalettes.
The Escape Scene
17. Alice runs up the slide of cards and slides back down, exposing her pantalettes.
18. Alice jumps over the characters running around the rock, revealing her pantalettes.
19. Alice jumps over several other objects, revealing her pantalettes.
20. The Mad Hatter and the March Hare shake Alice forward, causing her pantalettes to become exposed.
I do have some screenshots of some scenes however:

(I would prefer to see a screencap of this scene in which her face is still completely visible. I think it's the frame right before this one. As you can see, in this frame, her face is slightly covered up by her foot. If anyone can take a screencap of the frame before this one where both her face and her pantalettes are completely visible, I will be very happy.

Here's another frame from the same scene. This is one frame after the previous screencap:

P.S.
Would it be possible to add these screenshots to this website's screenshot gallery for the Disney movie?

I like:
1.) Alice herself. The animators did a great job with her. And yep, she has a cute pair of bloomers. The animators didn't shy away from showing us that, interestingly. I first saw the movie when I was little, so I was Alice's peer at the time, and had a crush on her.
2.) The Tea Party. Very lively and lots of fun.
I dislike:
Alice crying in the Tulgy Wood. I thought it was way over the top. I wanted the spunkier Alice I saw before.

What I loved about the Disney movie:
1.) The falling down the hole seen, that was just phenomenal.(even though there was no pile of twigs at the bottom!
)
2.) Contrary to popular opinion, I LOVE the flower seen. I think it is cute.
3.)The Caterpillar. He was just perfect. I love his voice too.
What I hated:
1.) Definitely the talking door knob. It was jut not necessary. Although, I like the part It sucks Alice through the key hole.
2.)TweedleDee and TweedleDumm. The songs and voices were just gastly.
3.) Where is Mr. Mouse? I love him in the book.

Re: 3 Things You Loved and Hated In the Disney Movie
I wonder why Alice's bloomers show so often in the movie? I can't think of any other Disney heroine whose undies are exposed as often as Alice's.

What I loved about the Disney movie:
1. The Mad Hatter and the Mad Tea Party scene
2. The Cheshire Cat (great character. Plus, I like the fact that he sings the first stanza from Jabberwocky )
3. I find Alice to be well done as a character.
What I hated:
1. The fact that they left out a lot of great chracters from the book.
2. The fact that, and this is the case for most movies, they mix the two, it forces them to edit who goes into the movie and who doesn't. Can't they just do Alice's Adventures in Wonderland or just Through the Looking-Glass?
3.The mome raths. Why little mop-looking things? Raths are supposed to look like green pigs.
