The Alice books are for everyone now

Lenny points out on the home page that AAiW is a Victorian book. So? It's in English, and it's readily available to read.

Two facts stand out on that subject. First, that the People's Edition was brought out to make it more affordable to the middle class; and, second, provision for public education of the working class, in Great Britain, began in 1870.

AAiW would've been inaccessible to a lower middle class/working class person like me when it was published in 1865. I'm glad that class doesn't enter into it anymore.
