Characters that Matter the Most

Postby Mock Turtle » Thu Nov 24, 2016 5:29 pm

So undoubtedly the most important part of the books is their characters. Although the site has a good list of every character and the obvious main characters, what if we were to make the list about 10 characters long?

Not including Alice herself, mine would probably be:

Adventures in Wonderland
The White Rabbit
The Dodo Bird
The Caterpillar
The Cheshire Cat (my favourite)
The Duchess
The Dormouse
The Mad Hatter
The March Hare
The Queen of Hearts
The Mock Turtle
Through the Looking-Glass
The Jabberwock
The Red King
The Red Queen
The White King
The White Queen
Tweedledum & Tweedledee
The Sheep
Humpty Dumpty
The Lion
The Unicorn

Would you agree? DIS:-)

Do you mean that you've read the books and are examining in context the characters in particular at the moment?
Or do you literally mean that "undoubtedly the most important part of the books is their characters"?

As the Hatter pointed out to Alice at The Mad Tea-Party, "I say what I mean" is not the same as "I mean what I say". (This long awkward silence in response to your posting could become permanent, so I just wanted you to know that you are welcome to the forum.) :)
