Can anyone tell me info about this book???

Postby aliceaficionado » Sun Jun 27, 2010 10:02 pm

I recently bought a 1984 facsimile copy of Through the Looking-Glass. I also bought a copy of Alice in Wonderland, which proved to have absolutely terrible reprints of the Tenniel illustrations, so I could never bring myself to read it. Therefore, I wondered whether the same people who made my copy of Through the Looking-Glass made a copy of Alice in Wonderland. It turns out they did, and I am getting it in a couple days. :D In the meantime...

I always like to learn more about my books. I Googled it several times with no success. All I know about it is that if I had bought it new with TTLG, it would have come in a boxed set. I do not know what the cover looks like. This is really bugging me, even though I know the mystery will be solved in a few days. Can anyone please help?!????

You're not giving any info on your book at all, so there's nothing we can help with.
What's the ISBN number, publisher, ...?

Sorry, Lenny. (:-O

ISBN number I don't know, but the publisher is Knopf. This might not be any help, but it was published in 1984.

I'll Google it again today when I've got the time. After all, this clock is exactly two days late!

Ah, I always love the feeling when a book arrives in the post. :-) I have learned through experience that trying to get specific editions of books is trying, as you have to know all the right information and et cetera!

Is the book what you hoped for?

More than what I hoped for. I love it so much that when we went to the library, I refused to let go of them. :D

I just took them over to the computer and showed them your post, Bella44. I always believed books could feel things.

Of course books can feel things! I hope I made them feel good about themselves - they truly are beautiful :D :D
