Someone mentioned Florence + The Machine (my favourite band by the way), which is wonderful! 'Blinding' and 'Rabbit Heart' are definitely Alice-esque, if you read the lyrics, and maybe even a few songs from Ceremonials too. They also sound very dreamy as well.

I went through a phase of thinking a few Siouxsie and the Banshees songs might fit, like 'Stargazer', for example, or even 'Arabian Knights', though it's a bit tenuous.

'Spellwork' by Austra would be interesting, if anyone makes an electro-dark-wave-dream-pop adaptation. Pfrt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v.....mp;ob=av3e I also imagined the Caucus Race when I first heard the opening of Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1 in G Minor, Op. 26 - III, Finale, Allegro Energico, for some reason. I think it's the energetic violins. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5Qhne9qZFY Surprised

YES! I agree about Siouxsie and the Banshees! Smile Or maybe Lullaby by The Cure. (I've started listening to a LOT of old-school Goth music.)
You like Austra? AIW Smile
Other suggestions: some ambient music maybe? Stone in Focus or Rhubarb by Aphex Twin? Tom Waits' Alice? The Residents might be good, since they're the weirdest band ever. Tubular Bells would be interesting too...

Definitely Tubular Bells! I always think of Alice when I hear that. I'd also like to add Super Massive Black Hole by Muse. Idk why exactly. I guess it's just the feel of the song.
