While adults try to decipher Lewis Carroll's putative use of complex mathematical codes in the text, or debate his alleged use of opium, young readers simply dive with Alice through the rabbit hole, pursuing "The dream-child moving through a land / Of wonders wild and new." The Most Beautiful "Alice"
Apart from the original illustrator, John Tenniel, Arthur Rackham's "Alice" is considered by some to be the most well-known. His striking illustrations are beautiful and perfectly fitful for a fairy tale of its kind. This book will have you staring at the pictures for hours, lost in its enchanting, dreamlike aura.
