Our authentic chinese celadon is handcrafted using the same antiquated manufacturing techniques that have been employed in China for literally centuries. The unique green hue comes from an iron based glaze that reacts with both the heat and specific clays used in celadon production. The color is a soft cool green that emphasizes tranquility and serenity. While uniquely asian, celadon incorporates beautifully into both contemporary and traditional settings of both eastern and western influence.
