- Scratchy and NOT 8 inches!
This is an ADORABLE little hedgehog, but only to look at. He is much too scratchy for any child to snuggle and he is also smaller than advertised, only about 6 inches. If you want a really cute hedgehog to just look at, this is perfect, but for a child, this is not the toy you want.

This little guy is very cute. I bought him to go along with a book I was reading with my 4-year-old. She liked him but said he is "too prickly" to cuddle....so if you just want to look at a toy.....

- Great little stuffed animal!
This little hedgehog is such great toy! I liked the look of it when I saw it online and I wasn't disappointed. It looks more realistic than a lot of the others out there, but still cute enough to be fun. It feels like it should hold together well for a while, but then again it isn't going to be handled by kids most of the time. It's the perfect size for a small stuffed animal. If we are ever looking for another little stuffed animal, we'll probably look for another "flopsie" by this brand.

I bought this little hedgehog for my brother, who collects them, and he loved it. Unlike many stuffed animals, this one had a cute upturned nose and looked quite a bit like the real thing -- not cartoony or smiling or anything. My brother claimed he played with it for hours, and no, he's not a child. Soft and cuddly, we're both happy with it.
