- Adorable costume, weird hat!
Overall, this is an ADORABLE costume and we were very happy with it. We did have to work around the hat...as another reviewer mentioned it is very big and puffy inside. It fits an adult! I had to use bobby pins to really pin it down on my little girl's head, and that's not an easy feat with a squirmy 2-year-old! As for fit, my daughter was 27-months-old when she wore it and is on the petite side. It fit her perfectly...there was no extra room. We did get tons of compliments on this costume and I would recommend it...just be aware that the hat will take some work.

I bought this for my 21 month old, 21 lb toddler. We wanted to be the Raggeddy Anne and Andy family---and people around us went really wild. They loved it. The dress fit my 21 pound girl pretty big, though...it went all the way to her calves. But she is pretty small anyway. My only complain was the head gear. It was too heavy and too big for her. I ended up using it myself, and she used mine (my headgear was too small, I'm 5'4" 127 pound female adult). Your headgear fit me better than it would her. The heavy cotton inside the hat was too plump for a small toddler. My suggestion is to have a zipper that we can unzip and take out the inside of the hat, in case the buyer does not want it too big and heavy. Since the dress was too big for her, I'm sure she can wear it agin until she's 4 years old.
