Disney's Alice in Wonderland 2: Through The Looking Glass

Postby MyOwnLittleWorld » Sun Mar 14, 2010 9:57 am

I would love it if Disney would make a sequel to Alice in Wonderland and bring out characters like The Duchess, The Mock Turtle, Humpty Dumpty, The White Knight, etc. You know, characters that they didn't show in the 1st one.

Plus, it would be nice to have Alice come back...

Though they're gonna have to find someone else to voice her, someone who sounds close to Kathryn Beaumont.

Well, I think myself would be up for the job. DIS:-) Okay, maybe not . . .
But I would look forward to this too, if they made it into a decent movie. In my opinion, most Disney sequels suck, and are completely irrelevant to the first film. But if this sequel were to feature more scenes from the book(s), I'd probably like it.

Well, Tim Burton's Alice is a huge success. And that usually means a sequel. However, I don't think Tim Burton is a sequal kinda guy..

It boggles the mind.

I was actually talking about the 1951 version.

Well, Burton in 1992 did Batman Returns and that was the sequel to his 1989 version of Batman.

Well there are a lot of people who would like a sequel from this Disney 1951 version, so if you aren't interested then you don't have to watch it (if it's ever going to be made and released).

We all have different opinions and we all want different things, if that's gonna make you weep for the future then so be it.

Nice as the idea is...one more terrible sequel for an early Disney movie and I'll scream, then commence in creating a lake of tears in my backyard.

Guys, I just had a thought; if they do make this film, then that means when Alice is a queen, she won't need to be in the Disney Princess line; SHE'LL HAVE MORE POWER THAN ALL OF THE PRINCESSES COMBINED!!! (sure she's a Queen in her dream, but even so, just think of the possibilities!) DIS:-)

The only problem with the idea of a sequel is that lots of classic disney movies that had sequels turned out rilly bad. Also, it was made in 1951. Dont you think that they would have made a sequel by now if they wanted one so bad?

I second this. Disney, get your hands off Alice you fiends! You've messed up her world twice now, do not do it a third time!
