Trying to locate an Alice Movie
I watched an Alice and Wonderland movie on VHS around 1997 that mum had brought from a $2 dollar shop and it was the only Alice movie that i watched. It was an animation and had no reference to the second book through the looking glass at all. This movie followed the chapters of the original book "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" written by Lewis Carroll. The movie had more reference to the Jam Tarts that Alice stole and didn't have Tweedledum and tweedledee nor the Jabberwocky in it. The Door mouse was featured more and crying scene at the beginning was completely different. In this movie Alice also walked into a circle room that looked like a library with many doors in it. I cannot remember the title of the movie but i know for sure it wasn't the Disney one. Can anyone Help me please, or does anyone else remember this movie?!?

Yeh, I was kinda making the point that I hadn't actually checked that it was Japanese, I'd just read it, and forgetting that the interwebs are chock-full of misinformation, foolishly believed it and passed it on as though it were true (doh)
Since then, I've read the closing credits to the film and there are an awful lot of Japanese names there, so I suspect, in this instance, the internet might actually have been right

Hm, I suppose it's shouldn't be that surprising to me. A lot of different countries work on multiple animations. Like Korea apparently does a lot of good animations for the US (well, one from what I know. And the creators of Alice: Madness Returns had a lot of people from Shanghai, eastern countries do good work lol XD
