Hellow,
I have two children and I would like them to see a movie of Alice in Wonderland.
What version do you think is the most recommendable for 5 to 12 years old children?
Thanks a lot.

It depends on what you're looking for.
If you want a version that is shorter, then the Disney animated one would be good, although it isn't true to the book. The Hallmark version combines the two Alice books and is about 2 hours, but it's fairly colorful and pretty good.
One's I'd avoid for the younger age group are the Jonathan Miller version (beautiful, but slow and I don't think it will hold the attention of most 5 year olds) and the Jan Svankmajer (creepy, slightly unsettling, surrealist version).
Hope that helps!

I'd say steer more towards the 1951 Disney cartoon, but you could also go with one of the many low budget cartoons from the 80's and 90's that nobody has heard of before.
