Strange Forum Rank -- I thought they weren't custom?

There was this whole little dispute about my temporary (and rather ROCKIN') Guard of Wonderland status that lead to the conclusion that status can only be changed by posting (or for the Webmaster's temporary amusement :] ) however, I came across this:

which looks to me like a custom title, but I could be wrong. Is this a real status?? If so, why is it so un-Alice related?
