I found the picture linked to in the next post to be very unpleasant and to me it seems pornographic, although I guess this is a matter of opinion. I also know that if I saw a real life picture like this I would contact the police.
Needless to say it is a fake. But, as I said on my posting about it, here in the UK you can get prosecuted for having photoshopped child porn or links to it on your machine. I seriously think Lenny should remove it, and not take the risk of police or anyone deciding it is obscene or paedophiliac.
I wouldn't take the risk of having it on if it was me running this site.

Hi Jenny,
I moved your topic to the feedback subforum, as this is a matter of forum moderation.
Please link to the topic in question, as the order of the topics change whenever someone posts in it. Referring to "the next post" will have no meaning then.
In this case we're talking about this topic
Now, as for your question:
I don't think we'll be at risk because someone posted this image. The surrounding posts make it very clear that it is fake, not child porn. Also, it is only in your browser cache and will be deleted again soon. It is not purposedy saved onto your harddisk.
This site is hosted in the Netherlands and we have other legislation here.
In fact, I think it is good that we have this topic as a reference for everyone who asks him / herself whether the image is real.

I've been answering questions about Alice in Wonderland on a WikiAnswers site and the question has just come up as to whether that photo is real. Thanks to this website I've been able to answer the question, debunk the myth AND provide links to the original photograhs to provide proof.Hi Jenny,

I'm very grateful to have this website as a resource and agree with Lenny that it is valuable to maintain that particular thread for instances such as this.

Beautiful Soup was right, it was 'shopped' (Photoshop was used).Huh? whats that mean?I'll bet it did. Maybe you should try and be a bit less obvious though.Which photo are you talking about? This post thoroughly peaked my curiosity...
That's piqued btw.

It's funny, the moment I saw it (which was a fair while ago) I knew it was fake, as it's just two different photos blended together on Photoshop:

That's the original photo of Carroll used in this new 'photograph'. You can also tell, by looking at his hands in the fake one, that it's been shopped. They just don't look right.

Oh yeah! I know that photo! Oh its not dangerous! I think its adorable <3 <3 <3
Yes sadly it is fake (Im saying 'sadly' becuase its looks rather innocent) I saw a picture of Lewis like this, only he was reading a book right? The other picture of Alice I have never seen, only on a different cover of the book that everyone seem to hate on this site called 'Alice I Have Been'
