I am supposed to be the mad hatter in a school play, and I am not sure how to portray him, any hints?

The mad hatter is some mad weird guy wearing a hat (and a horrible hair style udner the hat) and all he is ever doing is tea drinking. (where he is).

I was the Red Queen for a production, and I also used this forum for help. One thing I'd like to mention is to try to forget any ways you've already seen the character portrayed. I know it's tough, but you really don't want to be just a comparison. Try different things.
