Alice Dress

Postby Alice's Requiem » Wed Nov 03, 2004 9:25 pm

I am going to a Masquerade Ball in January in Whitby (UK). For the event i am having an Alice dress especially made for me.

Yes it is going to be American McGee Alice, but the only different between american mcgee and regular alice dress is some runes painted on the pockets.

Anyway, it's going to be fantastic, i find out in the next 2 weeks how much it is going to cost to make. I am so looking forward to it! Will keep you updated with how its getting on.

Great pictures!
That's not you, is it? In your profile it says you're male...?

The dress has gone a bit off track at the minute as the person who was going to make my dress wanted £150 to do it!

So i'm now on the look out for textile students from my college or any friends who can sew or a website or anyone in the UK really who would be able to make it for me if i bought the material or we came to some sort of deal.

I've got a few friends to ask before i go looking in the whole of the Uk.

I am really hoping i find someone as i want this dress more than anything!

The dress is back on track thanks to a friend. She receommended me to someone that she knew. I contacted that person and she is going to make the dress for me for £35, a fraction of the other person's price!

The dress is going to start being made in mid decemeber when the person has finnished the other orders which she has waiting.

Woo hoo!!

Nice. ^_^

The IMG tag doesn't work because the URL isn't an image, it's a webpage with the image on it.

ahhhh, that would explain a lot....so it has to be something like http://www.imagewebsite.com/imagename.jpg for it to work.

I'll have to remember that for the future then!
