Looking for a good script

Postby jptrtears » Thu Sep 08, 2005 6:14 am

I work at a high school in the Chicago area. We are planning to perform a version of Alice in Wonderland this fall, but are having problems finding the "right" script. We started with a script with a small cast, it's a small school, but it was rather awful (written for small children to watch, no "meat" to the script). We've read a few since then, but no one seems to be in agreement. I'm wondering if there are any others out there that might be interesting. So far I've read the Eva Le Gallienne, Anne Coulter Martens, and the Madge Miller versions. We are not planning to do a musical version.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
