I have an early photograph of a theatrical production of Alice in Wonderland from 1887, of Alice and Doormouse. I wonder if anyone might be able to give me any more information on this? I can send a lo-res of the image on request.
Thanks

Which means it is of this production:

EDIT AGAIN Oh teriffic, the link doesn't work. If you click the link then add "_(musical)" at the end of the address, that should get you there

They performed in Alice in Wonderland, as musical pantomime by Henry Saville Clark (1841-1893) and Walter Slaughter, with Lewis Carroll's permission. It opened at the Prince of Wales Theatre on 23 December 1886, and was a huge success for consecutive decades.
