Wonderland - musical soundtrack

Postby Naiobe » Tue Apr 03, 2012 9:05 pm

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place and if I haven't I apologize.

I was wondering if anyone had seen the musical Wonderland. My friend bought me the soundtrack for my birthday and it has fantastic music. It seems to be a new take on Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. It's hard to tell what their version is through the soundtrack though. So I was just curious if anyone had seen it and what they thought.

Wonderland website here

Wikipedia entry here (includes a plot synopsis)

EDIT Wretched link! If you add _(musical) in the address bar it should work

Oh hey! Just found it on YouTube. Apparently you can watch the whole thing

Or some show clips which aren't filmed in shaky-cam

It got some pretty bad reviews

I'm afraid that Wonderland wasn't exactly a hit. The critics panned it and the show closed after only a month

Thanks for the links! I'll have to watch them later when I get home. I can't wait! Too bad it closed. Hopefully it will be like Carrie or You're A Good Man Charlie Brown. They didn't do too good when they first opened but after a number of years they did revivals that were big successes!
