The Mock Turtle's Song

Postby prohias » Tue Dec 13, 2005 2:35 am

Was there ever a popular song version of the Lobster Quadrille in the 1920's/30's? Because I remember the music in a Betty Boop cartoon about ALice in Wonderland sounding much like the song Gene Wilder sings in the 1999 Hallmark Entertainment Alice in Wonder;and.

Did the 1999 version reuse an older song?

Wouldn't doubt it. But, I'de like to know this, too! Sounds like some good researching to me!!

DIS:-) Cheshire's random kind of Factness: Many historians are convinced that the Incans were the first people to successfully perform a blood transfusion. If so, it probally helped that they were all the same blood type. (O positive)
