I was reading The Annotated Alice earlier and the author of it wrote a note saying that Carroll had taken out a Dramatis Personae from earlier editions of Through the Looking Glass where it had a list of what characters would be what pieces on a chess set.
It lists Tweedledee and Tweedledum as the white rooks, and Humpty Dumpty and the Lion as the red rooks.
My question is: though I have seen Alice themed chess sets, are there any sets based off of Carrolls' description how the characters relate to the game?

Carrol Based Chess Set.
We have one in the works. We plan on doing a limited run of "Lewis Carroll" edition Alice sets which feature his layout. It is not going to be out until next year though.
