Omnia - "Fairy Tale"

Postby Perceval » Sun Jan 27, 2008 11:18 am

Heard this song a while ago. It beautifully sets to music the opening of Through the Looking Glass. Give it a look...

I heard a small bit of the song, and you're quite right. Gorgeous song.

It's wonderful, just like being carried to a fairy land... I didn't know Omnia, but I like harp songs, and I think I'll search a bit through the net to find something else composed by them!

Kicking an old topic...

I went to a concert of Omnia yesterday and they also sang 'Jabberwocky'.

It was absolutely amazing to hear the audience shout the lines of the poem along. They're probably not Alice in Wonderland fans, but it is wonderful that this way, they know the lines anyway.

Ohh!! Omnia has such pretty music, but I totally didn't know they were into AIW, would have never guessed that either! :o

I'm kinda glad though! :D

And the song, of course, is so pretty!

WOW. I love musicians who sing otherworldly songs such as this. I am Irish, and so I loved the whole Celtic theme as well. It was like a lullaby, but one for adults.
By the way, there is a melody called "Lacie" by Yuki Kajiura, written for the anime adaptation of a Manga named Pandora Hearts, which happens to be based on Alice in Wonderland. While "Lacie" is very different from that omnia song, I think you shall enjoy it just as much.
