According to a link on the Lewis Carroll Society's facebook page, Jonny Depp, Helena Bonham-Carter and other assorted ne'er-do-wells gathered in the UK this September to film Alice in Wonderland: Alice Through the Looking Glass

The film is due for release May 2016

It looks interesting, but it's definitely not TTLG (not that I expected it to be).

It is indeed not at all what I would expect. But then again, Burton's first Alice in Wonderland movie wasn't either. I never was fond of that one.
Of course I'm still going to see this one, though.
