Tot nu toe moest ik altijd zeggen: &#8220;Geen idee, ik heb niets meer van haar gehoord dus ik neem aan dat ze het heeft opgegeven&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Wel was ik er inmiddels achter gekomen dat zij helemaal geen copyrighthoudster was van haar eigen artikel, maar dat de copyrights bij haar uitgever lagen. Ze had dus ook helemaal geen grond om mij op persoonlijke titel aan te klagen&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Maar dit weekend kreeg ik daar een definitieve bevestiging van:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Dear Lenny,<\/p>\n<p>We exchanged emails in December about my Alice article. Someone hacked into my computer and apparently forwarded them to my ex-husband, who is now on trial for Assault with A Deadly Weapons. My urgent questions:<\/p>\n<p>1.) Did anyone write to you about me? The writing may have been brief and somewhat illiterate? If so, please forward to me.<\/p>\n<p>2.) May you forward me our email exhanges as well as the one from your male friend&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>Let this be a legal statement: I no longer wish for any financial compensation whatsoever. What I need is assistance in figuring out who has been hacking in to my computer and my cell phone, and I am clueless about these things. Those emails, especially if you have the headers, may help.
