I had the quote the quote not four weeks ago and now I can now longer find it anywhere and I did try to find it on your site site but had no idea where it came from, only that I am sure it is not from that blasted Disney mess, it is too good. She is rambling on in a very convoluted manner about how her world would would be backwards and upsides downs and how curious it would it would be and you would think she was speaking to her sister for some reason upon being questioned about what she wanted from life but that certainly does not have to be the case at all. She sounded much more confused than normal in a way and on the screen the quote took up at least four lines of text. She ended by say saying some saying something in a kind of of sigh and said ‘and Everything!’ That is really the best I can do, she was much more Mad Hatter like then her usual sense.

I assume you are referring to an Alice in Wonderland movie. Unfortunately I have not seen all Alice movies, so I can only tell you that this quote is not from the original books, nor from Disney’s ’51 cartoon movie.

Perhaps you could leave a message on the forum, asking other visitors of the site. They may recognise the movie.
It would help if you provided more details about the movie in general, and rewrite your description of the quote somewhat, because I must admit your e-mail was very hard to read and understand.

I specifically stated that I did NOT refer to that evil Disney horror in my email to you. The quote comes from The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland, the BOOK.

Zucht. Begrijpend lezen is een kunst. Dus ik antwoord dat ik uit zijn mailtje opmaakte dat hij een film had gezien, ik niet beweerde dat hij het had over een quote uit Disney’s film, maar dat dit de enige film is die ik goed genoeg ken. En, nogmaals, dat zo’n soort quote ook niet in het boek te vinden is.

I got the quote from the site About.Com by Simran Khurana who was writing from a piece called, ‘The Philosophy of Life Revealed in These Alice in Wonderland Quotes.  He cited quotes by things that were not in the Disney version , last that I recall, But I have only seen that version and the Tim Burton version. I don’t know about the other possible movie version and their inclusion of the Mock Turtle in them or if he mixed and matched his quotes.  If you have not seen the movies so that you know what is in them is that not to be considered faulty research on your part so that you are able to tell people what goes with what?  If I were such an Alice fan I would have the movies memorized good, bad or indifferent, as I am a scholar myself.

Pardon?? Dus jij mailt me met een vraag en ik ben vervolgens een slechte Alice fan omdat ik niet genoeg ‘research’ heb gedaan en alle ooit op deze wereld gemaakte Alice films uit mijn hoofd ken?? Afgezien van het feit dat het een belachelijke eis is, beweer ik dan soms ergens op mijn site, die specifiek over de originele boeken en de Disney cartoon gaat, dat ik alle Alice in Wonderland films heb gezien (of uberhaupt wil zien)?

Bah, wat kan ik boos worden om zo’n houding…

Ik heb ‘m teruggemaild dat ik me erg beledigd voelde en dat hij de quote verder lekker zelf mocht gaan zoeken.
