Alice Liddell, the girl that the ‘Alice’ stories are about, was born on May 4 1852. Happy birthday, Alice!
It’s not a coincident that “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” takes place on May 4th as well. You can discover this if you read the story closely, as several clues are given in the text!
Whew! Talk about a trip down a rabbit hole! I just spent quite a bit of time reading all the references/origins of bits of the Alice books listed. Thanks so much! Some were new to me 🙂
