Disney’s 1951 Alice in Wonderland movie anniversary

Disney’s animated Alice in Wonderland movie was released in London theaters on July 26, 1951. So today is the movie’s 67th anniversary!
The movie was not extremely successful after its release, nor is it considered to be one of the best Disney movies. Still, it remains a favorite in the hearts of many. The image of a blonde Alice in a blue dress has become an iconic image, as has the pink and purple striped Cheshire Cat.
